York City Knights have received a major boost ahead of their huge Betfred Championship play-off semi final against Featherstone Rovers at Bootham Crescent this Saturday with the news that they are delighted to announce that one of York’s most popular hotels – the Hilton York – has become an official club partner.

The Hilton brand is recognised worldwide as a brand synonymous with modern luxury and the Hilton York is no exception. Based across the road from the historic Clifford’s Tower, Hilton York is perfectly situated for a stay in the beautiful Minster City.

As a part of the deal, Hilton York will feature prominently on the Knights new 2020 playing kit around the collar.

Scott Thomson of Hilton York said: ”We are delighted to become a sponsor and partner of the Knights and look forward to exciting times ahead as the club transitions into the new Community Stadium for the 2020 season.

“It was very clear from the outset that this is a real forward thinking club at the heart of the community and we have been extremely impressed with the strategic vision of the board and the commercial team as they progress the club.

“We look forward to building a solid relationship with the club and the fans – both of York and their opposition – in the months ahead.”

Knights Chairman Jon Flatman added: “We’re very proud to partner with one of the best hotels within the city of York. Not only is the hospitality and service fantastic but the whole staff and leadership behind Hilton York are a wonderful group.

“We look forward to working with them into 2020 and beyond as the club looks to strengthen commercial partnerships and friendships across the region.”

For any enquiries regarding partnerships opportunities please contact info@yorkcityknights.com and the Knights will be glad to discuss partnerships to suit a range of budgets.
