Clifford’s Tower helps Hilton Hotel to celebrate 100th birthday
A HILTON hotel in York celebrated a milestone anniversary for the international chain by projecting the company’s 100th birthday logo onto Clifford’s Tower.
The logo was projected onto the historic tower from 9pm on Friday and Saturday, by the nearby Hilton York hotel, on Tower Street.
The hotel team also be handed out cupcakes and water at the foot of Clifford’s Tower from noon to 1pm on Friday as a random act of hospitality.
The original Hilton company was founded in 1919.
