HOSPITALITY AWARDS 2026
The third annual HAY Hospitality Awards brought York’s hospitality community together at the Radisson Hotel York to celebrate the people at the heart of the city’s hospitality industry.
Across 12 categories, 37 finalists were recognised for their passion, dedication, resilience, reliability and professionalism, with winners revealed during a lively evening filled with plenty of pride, emotion and celebration.
The HAY Awards are about people, not businesses. They shine a light on the individuals who keep York’s hospitality industry moving, from the kitchen and bar to reception, housekeeping and management. The evening brings teams from across the city together to champion their colleagues, celebrate their achievements and enjoy being part of an industry they’re proud of.
A highlight of the evening was the Lifetime Achievement Award, presented to Helen Curzon of Delta by Marriott York. With more than 30 years in hospitality, Helen was recognised for her hands-on leadership, dedication to helping others grow and commitment to putting people first.
The awards also demonstrated the incredible community spirit that runs through York’s hospitality industry. This year’s charity partner, Hoping Street York Kitchen, set a goal of raising enough to fund two of its weekly community kitchens. In less than two hours, attendees raised more than £1,200 – enough to fund four kitchens.
The HAY Awards are only possible thanks to the many partners who support the event, with relationships that have grown far beyond business. Together, they help create an evening that celebrates not only the individuals who make hospitality special, but the wider community that supports them.
Congratulations to all of this year’s finalists and winners, and thank you to everyone who helped make the 2026 HAY Hospitality Awards such a memorable night.
